Ethical question

People often say that I need to start threads other than bashing Royal and Betus threads. Ok, I like to pose ethical questions for people. This is just for fun. Not real guys.


Imagine you had a bookie. Lets say that you swore to him that you placed a bet and the bet won. He claims that the bet was never placed and says you are lying. The bet is placed with a service he uses. The service says it cant find the bet. So out of good character you pay the bookie anyways, even though you know you placed the bet and the bookie should actually pay you.
Now lets say that three weeks later you find out that the service actually found the mysterious bet and contacted the bookie immediately to notify him . The bookie tells the service that the player has already paid up and to just keep it quiet.
Now lets say that you accidentally get wind of this situation where the bookie tells the service to not tell the player that the bet was indeed placed and found to be valid. Lets say that you currently owe the bookie 10 grand. The mysterious bet was for say 3 grand.
Even though there is a 7 grand difference, would you pay the bookie if he says you should pay the difference even though he was caught cheating you?

So the missed bet was for 3,000? At even odds (which a bookie won't charge), then that means it's a $6,000 turnaround ($3,000 that you had to pay + $3,000 that you won). So I really owe him 4 grand?

I tell him to fuck himself and that I'm not paying him a dime.

If he has "ways" of getting me to pay him, then I guess I'll pay him the four grand that I owe him and never bet with him again.

Where are you getting the $7,000 difference?

My bad. You are right. 4 grand difference. The point is that money is still owed in the bookies eyes. I agree that if you catch the guy cheating you, he shouldnt expect you to pay him anything owed. I mean imagine if it was the other way around. Imagine if he found out that you were cheating and had collected off of cheated wagers. Do you think he would pay you if he currently owed you anything? Of course not. Fuck em'. What do you mean by if he had ways of making you pay? I guess he could threaten you but would he really come after a guy who caught him cheating? Hed have to live with that decision.

G, Im not sure what you mean. You pay the bookie even though you know you placed the bet but because the bet cant be found at the time, the bookie, deservedly so, thinks you are full of it. The thing is, a couple of days later the bookie is notified by the seervice that the bet was indeed placed but lets say somehow got entered into soneone elses account. The bookie heres the tape of the bet being placed and everything. After being told that the bet was valid, the bookie calls in to the service and tells them not to tell the player that the bet was found. A month later you find out that the bookie did this. Yes, you paid the bookie and showed your good character. Now the bookie wants to just subtract that 3000 or 6000 from your balance. Do you say know way, or pay him the difference?

I was only responding to Omnivorous( Im miserable because I have a fat ugly girlfriend so I act like a dick to complete strangers on the internet) Frogs comments. As far as attempting to scam BCN, every single action I did there I posted here. Would I publicize a scam? You are still undoubtedly the RX's champion shmuck. Your credibility is pegged at zero. You screwed over every legit sport bettor with your web of lies and deceit. You blatantly lied to the board, and to the people who were helping you. This is public knowledge. We have video monitors that show what the periscopes see. All of the families and wives are on the pier waiting for us. There is this super smart ass sonarman looking at the screen. He laments, "You know, you always see these fine babes waiting for their men to return from sea. But with our sub, it looks more like a farm reunion with cows and pigs." Behind him was a chief, who had one of the large wives on the camera. When I looked at the monitor, saw her, and saw his face, I vowed never to ridicule a man's wife size ever. That's so true, and funny Froggie! My buddy did the same thing one day with our superviser years ago in Nevada- except he said something bad about white guys and black girlfriends. Like Paul Harvey, you know the rest of the story.
